太阳城娱乐平台’s 剧院 Department is home to approximately 30 to 40 theatre students who enjoy a busy production schedule of four shows per year, and a host of other related activities. Our students follow the Associate of Arts 度计划.

The mission of the Drama Department is to provide students with a general knowledge of all areas associated with theatre so that the students can either continue their education at a four-year college/university or pursue a professional career in theatre, meanwhile endeavoring to provide quality productions and services to a diverse community.
The Drama Department endeavors to:
- Offer courses in performance and production as well as give practical experience in theatre
- Produce at least four fully staged productions a year
- Serve the community by offering plays appropriate to all ages and a diverse season
- Prepare students for professional employment in theatre by providing them the resources necessary to obtain internships and apprenticeships with professional theatres while they are still students
- Expose students to a variety of theatrical styles and productions through an association with the Kennedy Center American College 剧院 Festival
- Within the theatre curriculum, the faculty introduce the fields of acting, 导演, and designing as places of equal opportunity for all races and genders.

The 太阳城娱乐平台 基金会 awards thousands of scholarship dollars to deserving students every year. Once you complete the FAFSA process, consider submitting an application for a scholarship.
